We got this question recently regarding our Tytan Professional Thermospray. “How much would it be to insulate the underbelly of a mobile home?” I thought this was a great comment, let’s break it down in this video. Most mobile homes are about 14 feet by 60 feet. That’s about 840 board feet to cover. With our Tytan Professional Thermospray, you would need about three and a half cases. This does depend on how thick you want your insulation to be. So, when I say a “board foot”, that is a square foot at one inch depth. At one inch thick, each case covers about 252 board feet. So, you are looking at about a $750 cost for this sort of DIY job. The real benefit here is that you don’t need the professional rig. You can just get some Thermospray, shake the can, and save some money. Thank you for your comment! If you have any more questions, please do leave a comment.
