Hey welcome to TYTAN Professional videos. I’m James Davoli, the product manager. And today we’re answering a question that came in. How do you store unused product? So if you remember previously we had a really quick video that shows how do you store product that’s in use on the can? And this is a great example, it being vertical. But now we’re really going to get into how do you store the product that’s still in the case and what do you want to do with it?
You don’t want to when you receive the product at your warehouse, leave it outside in the elements. This is one of the biggest things we see with product issues. If it’s sitting outside in the sun, in the rain, all of those different elements, you don’t want to do that. Now what you do want to do when you receive that product in immediately put it somewhere inside.
And as long as you have time to make proper storage, inside is better than outside. You want to keep it out of that direct sunlight. You want to keep it out of the rain. All the different elements. That’s the first. You don’t want to leave the unused product in your box van in your truck, something like this because you’re keeping it what can get very hot, especially in the summer or in the winter, it can get very cold.
Not climate controlled areas are going to be much more susceptible to getting those cans at a higher temperature or a lower temperature than what they can withstand. You want to keep that product in a climate controlled area. You want to keep it somewhere where it’s not going to have those high fluctuations of really cold and really hot on all of our boxes.
It has a nice little pictogram. What temperature range you want to keep that product at. So please refer back to our TDS for any those kind of what temperature range do we want to keep it at in our climate controlled area? You don’t want to store the product on its side or upside down. Now what I mean is we don’t want to have the case where the product is laying sideways and you don’t want to have the case where the product is quite literally upside down.
One of the big reasons for that is you don’t want to have the chemicals inside directly touching the gasket in the top of the can. So this is why it’s really important. And on all of our boxes, we have arrows of which way the product needs to be sitting, which is vertical up and down to keep that gasket from touching the chemicals inside.
Thank you for watching our video. Please like and comment any other questions you might have for us. I hope you have a great day.
